I wonder if anyone down under can help. A while ago I found a message posted on the Bristol information site about Thomas Walter Long who was my husband's g g grandfather. He was obviously this person's g g grandfather too. The message was posted in 2002 and I couldn't make contact since his e-mail address had changed. I looked on Ancestry amd there was a similar message posted in 2006 but when tried to e-mail, it again bounced back. I have lots of information I would like to share. Does anyone know of a possible message board where I might be able to make contact. The places mentioned in NZ were Napier and Thames. Thanks.Susan

Hi Susan.
Presumably you have his surname and initials - and hopefully not Smith!
You could try the NZ White pages (google) and look for a phone in the two areas - Napier is in Hawkes Bay - Thames in Coromandel.
I'll have a quick look.
Bernie.
Later - the aforesaid gentleman didn't marry or die here so possibly descendants came out. Do you have any 'disappearances' in your tree?
