To find his service records, if they have survived, you would need to go to National Archives, Kew, or get someone to go for you. To find out about his regiment, you could google the name of it and that should lead you to the regimental museum. They would be able to give you some general info, but unlikely to have much on the man himself. Regiments.org will also have info on the regiment. |

I have just found a relative who died in the 1st world war. I have found out his service number and regiment. |
