should point out....it appears the family including the father John moved over from ireland in the mid 1840s due to the potato famine in ireland. |

yes the 1851 census does show that......with John the fourth son born in Grindale...other 3 sons born in ireland. |

Sorry, mix up on my part here.........its John the fourth son born in Grindale...Owen indeed is born in ireland............how do i obtain a birth certificate for a child born in ireland in the 1840s or indeed a marriage certificate for a marriage taken place in ireland?....i have no GROs. |
