I am looking for the following names who probably came from France. Their daughter was either born in the UK or came to the UK but can't find any of their names in the census records. How do I go about researching in France when I have no details other than their names?

Hi Andrea,

It is very difficult as they dont do a BMD list as such. If you know which region/departmetn the family came from in France you may get a lead.


If you google cyndislist they have a section on France.
