Well i was hoping for a picture of barge and to build up a picture in my mind of his work and life by finding more about the role of the barge. |

Barges could change names. What are you hoping to find out? |

I found my great great grandfather on the 1881 census on the barge 'ethel' in london doing the suffolk to london straw run i think. But after researching barges named ethel i found the ethel ada and ethel maud both of which seem to have been built after 1881. So i am confused, I think the barge must have been built in molden, essex baecause thats where the master of the barge comes from. Does any one know anything to help me |
