Does anyone live in Haverfordwest? I am trying to trace information about my possible grandfather and I understand he was killed during WW2 at the Battle of Monte Cassino in May 1944. He was born in Haverfordwest and I would love to know if his name appears on any of the war memorials (I believe there are 3) within the town. Would anyone be kind enough to take a look if and when they pass it by? His name was George Leslie Bevan, aged 20. Many thanks. |

Yes I have thanks and got details from there, but it would just be lovely to know if he has been remembered on a memorial in his home town. |

Thanks Sue - I would appreciate that and there's no rush - he's not going anywhere. |
