Married or Maiden Name?

A relative married a Widow, her first husband was a widower with children, do i put the name given on their marriage cert for the lady i.e. her 1st husbands Surname or do i use her maiden name on my tree? |

It is usual to record people with their birth name then add notes of any change of name. |
