I am in need of your opinions. In ref to my thread last night about James Hope Drummond, his wife Catherine Sage, and their son William James, brn 1821 St Pancras Middlesex. I have never been able to find James or his wife on the 1841 census, but late last night, looking for William on Ancesrys 1841 census, I came across this. |

You know what..theres no need to be so rude..my question to you was about James and not William. |

People often changed occupations in those days. |

...don't discount your find! As has been said the men changed their occupations many times. I would continue to persue the latest find to double check that this is or is not a parallel family. |

Who are the other people on the census - do any of the names fit at all with the family? |
