My aunt and her family emigrated to Australia in the 1950's. I know very little about them except that there were probably 6 children, one of whom was a son, Stanley Lawson Stringer. They later returned to England. Her name was Eleanor Sarah Stringer (nee Rudling) and her husband was Lawson Stringer. She was born Portsmouth .c.1903, they lived in Birmingham at one stage. I have been unable to find any records on their immigration, I have found the death of Stanley, but nothing on the death of Eleanor (known as Nellie) or anything else on the family. Any suggestions of where to look? I would like to find out about any of the other children and what happened to them. |
