Well the print idea DID work, now I have gone back to re read my message and cant even get a response on the print button, oh well, suppose I will have to wait till they stop messing around at Genes. Patience is a bit low though at the moment as it is the one afternoon I thought I would dedicate to my family tree, to get it in some sort of order. Not a happy bunny!!! |

Just to let you know - I had the same problem and I hit the print button on the bottom left and it displayed all the message - I didn't have to print it as I just hit the back button out of it |

I had the same thing happen to me when i tried to post a response to a thread. It was a very long response with a lot of research but it disappeared when i tried to submit it and got sent back to homepage. I tried to go back but it was gone. I could have cried! |

I've just had a thought. If we are all having this problem, then when Genes fix it you might find that the whole of the message was actually sent. |

That's a shame Maggie. If you re-write it and it's long and complicated, I would copy and paste it into Word before sending it. That way if the same thing happens at least you won't have to type it all out again. |

Just sent a long complicated message to a contact, and the genes system has neither sent nor saved it - all that was sent/saved is the first line. SOB!! Will have to rewrite and hope that gets through..........!! |
