How do I delete someone?

Can anyone tell me how to delete someone on my tree? I put in my husbands father okay, then put his mother in okay but looked at it on the tree and there is another nameless "mother" in there too??? So it looks like my husbands mother was nameless and his dad had another wife! It wont let me delete her!
Thanks for any help.

Delete either then change details,of one that is left.OR

click on your husband
edit(in the green bar)
change parents
select parents(drop down box)
now delete the odd one.

Lucky for you it was that far down the bottom of your tree!

If it had been way way up.....GR wont allow you to delete if they had Children.

You have to delete everything,then start again.....B...dy daft!...

.....or else transer to FTM prog then import back here after making amendments.

As we pay for this site, dont you think GR should have sorted this out by now?

Still Looking

I had a problem with a wrong parent I was trying out the "change parents facility" & was left with a mistake.
I wasn't prepared to delete my tree with over 1000 people on it just for a small error, so I emailed GR & told them what had happened, & after a couple of emails they straightened my tree out from their end, So never stress about it, they have the facility to change things from their end.
