Hi all
Is there anywhere you can check passenger lists of people travelling from Australia to the UK in the 1930s???

The National Archives has some records for immigrants.

Some lists of passengers arriving in Britain by ship from outside Europe between 1890 and 1960 have survived.

They are not indexed so unless you know the approximate date and port of entry it will mean a long trawl.

Some lists for the period 1948-60 have been transcribed and are searchable by name on the Moving Here website
