I've heard of "white leg", Kay. It's in one of my gran's old books and does say it can come from after childbirth because of having to stay in bed. Yet the silly author (I think they're silly, anyway) insists that the poor new mother should not get out of bed - or even sit up in bed - for the first few days after birth! |
