Hi Anyone from Scotland looking canyou help me I have found out one of ancestors Patrick Cowan was a burgess of Edinbugh can anyone tell me how i can find out about burgess I also found out about something called a process of scandal Patrick Cowan Portsburgh and Joseph Shiell Groathill 1703 what is a process of scandal and where can i get to see the court papers for this Regards Sandra |
