Use the General Register Office website and you can order the cert online. |

I wanted details of my late husbands birth family and as I had his adoption certificate and his mothers maiden name and had been told she was unmarried at the time of his birth I was able to contact the registry office concerned and they were very helpful and sent me his birth certificate. On that, his mother seemed to have married\(but not to the father from what relatives have told me) but her maiden name was there. |
