I am looking for help please, finding any military records of my Grand Father James Davie born 1877 and served with the ASC before coming to Canada in 1916? |

Did he serve with the CEF? Their records are excellent - I applied for copies of my OH's grandfather. Maybe there would be something on there about previous military history? |

His Fathers name was John. I do not know about Perth. Do you mean Australia? If so I would not think so. I am quessing about 1916 it could have been 1917. My father was the first Canadian of the family and he was born in 1918 so it is possible. |
