Maria is noted as Cripple on the 1901 Census, but nothing is said on the 1881 or 1891. |

Sylvia- thanks so much, I too think it looks like 2 lines for the 2 of them. I haven't gone forward to 1901 with Maria as she isn't the mother of the child I'm related to, but I'll look now. Ditto William as a sibling. |
