Help reading a census, please

Hi all,
I'm looking at a census for the Hillman family in Easton Royal, Wiltshire. I can't make out the "extra comment" in the Blind/imbecile column. Anyone got a better pair of eyes today?
The census is 1871, Easton Royal, head of house Charles Hillman

I've never had anything in this column, so far, so I'd like to work it out. Possibly, "Criple from **, pinching in foot"????? And who does it mean?

I read it as Cripple from fever........referring to Maria

Trying to decipher the second part........

Thanks, Reg- I'm squinting at it and I think 'fever' could be it.
Interestingly, nothing on the 1881, maybe recovered or not interesting enough for the next enumerator??

It does look like Crip(p)le from fever Pinching in foot



BUT to me it also looks as though Pinchin in foot is referring to William, and is separate from Maria's problem.

Maria is noted as Cripple on the 1901 Census, but nothing is said on the 1881 or 1891.

Sylvia- thanks so much, I too think it looks like 2 lines for the 2 of them. I haven't gone forward to 1901 with Maria as she isn't the mother of the child I'm related to, but I'll look now. Ditto William as a sibling.
Perhaps it depended on the census taker, after all it only asks for the disabilities on the list at the top?

Sorry I don't mean to rock the boat but I agree with Reggie, that the enumerator is describing Maria's disability 'Pinching in Foot'
