I would say take it very slowly and take each day as it comes. I am not adopted myself but I have been helping several cousins of mine that are. |

What advice would you offer to an adoptee or Birth Mother who was just about to have first contact. I have heard that once the initial excitement has worn off they may feel very deflated but do you have your own pearls of wisdom? |
