Most are mine are useless apart from 1 which has popped up over various months. Same contact name but a different HOT MATCH name. I have tried contacting this person on a number of occasions but he fails to reply, he now has over 6 relations which match mine DOB and where born all correct. |

I have a John Smith in my tree and almost went bananas with all the hot matches. I got around it by spelling his name as Ssmith. It stopped the useless hot matches instantly. |

I put my unkowns in my tree in square brackets. So if Thomas Mocock is married to Sarah Unknown she shows as Sarah [Mocock]. That way, I know who she is connected to and she doesn't hot match against a lot of unknowns. |

Thanks to all for replying, I also delete the dont knows right away. When I say different places of Birth, I mean Scotland and Australia, America and Scotland or England and Scotland. There must be some way of doing it. |

I know how you feel I have 4 or 5 pages a time. As I have Smith and a few Kings in my tree it happens, but I have found some people that are related to me so it will help |
