Member Since: March 2006 Posts: 938 Send Message	Hello I have found out the regiment my grandad was in, in the first world war, but i cant make out what the letters mean what it says is along with his army number is private E- lancs 1/5 TF 126 BDE 42 DIV. Anyone shed any light on it please? i did google and it came up with the manchester regiment but that was a separate brigade i think. many thanks.

	Try Googling East Lancashire Fusiliers - quite a lot of hits. They have a Museum in Bury, Lancs. I think they are now a TA unit. They have a fantastic drum band.
