Charlton Cementry still exists - my father was buried in the Cementry in 1980 and I visited his grave about 2 years ago |

I came from Charlton and a lot of my rellies are buried in Charlton cemetary . its always been a flattish area. I was up there last year looking at the paupers grave grt gran was buried in 1907. The cemetary supervisor met me there ,arranged with Greenwich |Council, and he showed me the plot . I did take another look for my bros grave he died in 1930 aged 3 months and we regularly used to visit it when i was a kiddy. The last time i saw it was 1957 when my bridal bouquet was put on it. |
