Hi i wonder if there is anyone out there who could give me some help or advice.
i have been doing some research for my brother in law who lives in australia. his family have been hard to trace but he has given me details about his grandma and her brothers and sisters but i am having no luck finding them. i have no dates of birth except for his grandma which he believes was c1895.

to start with his grandma was
MARGARET ELLEN JONES c1895 born flintshire wales she married Thomas Hough is in 1915 in Leigh Lancshire( awaiting marriage cert )

these were her brothers and sisters but we have no dates for them
CARY (apparently died when she was a young woman with cancer)
GINNY OR JINNY (married a policeman called Bob they had one daughter dont know name )
ALICE (married a station master called Ernest)
EMILY (married a policeman I think his name was Bob too, not sure though)
MIRIAM (she married someone whos last name was FRYER)
HARRIET (married a Percy Conway they never had any children)
EDWARD (NED) (I know nothing)
JACK
HARRY (married Kitty and their children were Idris, Glenis, Terry)
BILL (married Marg and their childen were Mildred and Kevin)
KATE. (married Alf and their son was called Glyn)
JOHN (the undercover job married Dolly and they had one daughter called Pauline)
ALL THESE HAD THE SURNAME JONES.

this is what my brother in law has told me about them

There was a John which was my Grandmothers son who was brought up as her brother as she had him out of wedlock with someone she worked for. They used to cover things up in those days. The family was from Wales, Flintshire I believe and they likely move to Chorley in Lancashire, when and what for I've no idea. Emily still lived and died in Chorley and Ginny lived in Blackburn. Kate lived in Bury, Bill went to America to live in Washington. Ned and Jack lived and died in Lowton Lancashire as far as I know. Harry lived in Plank Lane Leigh.Lancashire As regards dates etc I can't be too certain

So in the list above is JOHN but he was actually MARGARET ELLENS son but was brought up as her brother

There are just too many Margaret Ellen Jones born in Flintshire c1895. Will help once you have her age and father's name.
