Did you have to be born by any particular date in the year in order to vote at the next election after your twentyfirst - in those days - birthday, or would you be able to vote even if the election was on your birthday, or the day after for example.

Member Since: May 2005 Posts: 2 468 Send Message	By the time of the 18/06/1970 election, the minimum age had changed to 18 (I was 10 days too young). Provided you were on the register, you'd be able to vote on your 21st/18th birthday or any day thereafter. Angela
