I have just discovered a new web site which has some records pre-1837, and have just discovered birth registers for 4 of my ancestors! It is expensive to buy credits, but you may discover records you would otherwise never knew existed. The records include non-parochial, Nonconformist, Fleet and overseas registers, a standard search is free so it is well worth a look. www.BMDRegisters.co.uk. |

Well not actually non religious just not in the Parish church, ie not Church of England - the entries are taken from registers kept by ministers in Baptist and other non CofE churches. |
