Hm They have been two separate countries only since 1922! Before that Ireland was Ireland North and South, one country! |

Parish Records pre 1864 Catholics and pre 1845 Protestants WILL need a trip to Ireland as very little on the IGI for Parish records. Only 2 of my ancestors on the iGI. |

Not necessarily, Janet - the LDS have microfilmed lots of stuff that isn't on the IGI. |
