i have come across someone who's maiden name is the same as her marriage, when i have looked closer into it i have found that she is her husbands cousin.( her father is his fathers brother),

has any1 else come across this ? and if so can you connect them or do you have to put the info ..ie there children/ grandchildren on twice ?

HI Christine, I have the same problem with cousins marrying - I put cross-reference notes in the info section for each person.

You cannot do it on the genes tree build facility.
You can however do this on a family tree program on your home computer.
This sorts no end of complicated marriages.
You can export your gedcom from genes and import in to the program make the changes then export the new gedcom back to genes and names are then only shown once.

There are quite a few free programs you can download to do this.

Legacy is a good free one.
