help looking for a birth please

Hi i need a new pair of eyes to help me.
i have a walter smith born 1914 bolton lancashire mothers maiden name charleson
i have a william smith born 1917 bolton lancashire mothers maiden name charleson

and i need to find a betty/elizabeth smith born after 1917 for the same parents
she would be aroun 3 years younger i think from the info given to me but not sure.
i have been searching for a couple of hours but had no luck if anyone comes accross her please let me know

I've searched under Elizabeth Smith from 1917 to 1923 - nowt under Elizabeth. Parents can call a child Betty.

Okay.. searched under Betty Smith - from the same dates - she's not there.

Perhaps Betty was a second name?

You can actually search just with Smith and Charleson....the freebmd search is wonderful...but nothing there....not all transcribes yet
