Definately keep your tree elsewhere as well. You can buy Family Tree Maker (I use this), you can download Legacy or PAF for free or you can keep it online on Tribal Pages (also free). |

I have just found that a sizeable chunk of my tree has been corrupted with spurious relationship links all over the place. |
