Would 14 year old marry in 1841?

According to someone who Im in contact with re my sons family tree, a girl aged 14 married a 30 year old man and had a baby the same year. Would this be likely? Im unsure (as yet) his source of info. Thankyou. |

You need to find out where he got the info from - its very possible he has jumped on a girl with same name but different birth date (Ive had contacts do that - having not bothered to buy the marriage cert to check the fathers name). |
