In the 1901 census Mary Cannon is down as Living with Henry Cannon and three children Lottie which was Charlotte, Dollie which I can't find anywhere, my family didnt know she existed and Annie. According to the 1901 census Mary had Annie when ahe was 15 which made her illigitamate and ive searched for a marraige later on but cannot find one as I havent a clue what her Maiden name was and also cant find any births for the children Especially Dollie who is a complete mystery! Any advice greatly appreciated. Thankyou Sam |

The Marriage Act 1929 raised the age of marriage with consent of parents to 16 years for both boys and girls. |
