Creative ways to spell "Sophia"

I have hit a bit of a brick wall looking for my ancestor Sophia Siggs in the 1841 census and wondered if anyone could suggest any creative ways to look for a misspelt name. |

Hi Kate The only other way I have seen it is Sofia. Did she have a middle name? I see there is a Henrietta Siggs around the same age born in the same place. Perhaps she used her middle name? |

Looking at the IGI I see that there was a sister Henrietta so that isn't a possibility after all. |

Thanks, everybody. I think the Suffolk one is definitely a possibility - I never expected they would try spelling it with a C, but I think anything is possible with this name. |
