Hi All

I am about to subscribe to ancestry as many people on here have pointed me in the right direction i went on the 14 day trial before my holiday but cancelled knowing i couldn't afford it till now.

Anyway my question is do they have any offers on at the moment, i believe last month they had a 20% discount, but i'm obviously 2 days late for that.

Kind regards

Martin Ryan

Hi Martin,

If you google ancestry free 3 day trial, look for the moneysavingexpert.com page. Theres a link on there to take you straight to the free 3 day trial. I'm on my third free trial as I've used my OHs and my daughters email addys.

There is a 14-day trial at the moment........you have to register your credit card, but, as long as you cancel in time, you should be OK

Hi Evelyn

I had the 3 day trial but when it expired and I tried to get it again with another email address it comes up and says you have already had the trial and wont let me get it again. I have cleared the cookies so dont know how it knows I have had it, I used a different name and email. Any ideas please?

Martin

Why don't you just save them to your PC, when I did my free 3 days (3 times!!) I saved anything that was or maybe related to my family to my harddrive (not attached to their data) I think this only worked for census info though! Then I could go through it at my leisure and sift out what was relevant!

Good look anyway!

Hi,

Have you thought of enquiring at your local library? Many are now working with Ancestry on digitising their records and in return their users get free access to Ancestry on their People's Network computers. Might be worth asking,
