Does anyone know of a hamlet, district, or similar in or near Kendal, Westmorland, or perhaps one which has been swallowed up with another? An ancestor gives Henmoor as his place of birth on one census, and Kendal on others. |

Looking at the map, there's an Endmoor not far from Kendal. It's about 5 miles south. |

Mumsy, you are correct, it's on the A65, just south of Kendal, unfortunetly Phyllis, Carlisle is another 50+ miles north. |
