is essex near wimbledon.just trying to find out why my uncle died in wimbledon and the informant lived in essex,thank you if anyone can shed any light on this |

Essex borders to the East of London and Wimbledon is south west London. It's quite feasable. |

Maybe your uncle lived in Essex, and was in a hospital in Wimbledon. Or the informant could have lived in Wimbledon at some time, and moved out to Essex. |

If my memory serves me right, the informant has to be either a close relative or present at the death. Perhaps he is a relative? Maybe someone else could confirm if I'm right. |

yes i think your right but his parents were already dad and his brother my dad was also dead,but the name dos,nt ring any bells,so quess im stuck on this one,i tried looking for amarriage of my uncle but nothing came up |

I remember a rellie telling me that a great uncle, who had no children of his own, and was married twice, had his step-sons wife as informant on his death cert. So could have been anyone who knew him and registered the death. |
