national archives search help please

Thanks Tom and Joan you both have the right George and the help is much appreciated. Every time I tried to get his records I ended up with his grandson , (another George )and I already have down loaded his naval service record but through luck not skill .These details will be a great help. I have searched the national archives on line naval document records for George Hardy born 1818 in Stoke Damerel who on the 1881 census was listed as a naval pensioner, I can find his grandson named George William Hardy born 1868 in the archives but not the earlier one.Can anyone tell me if the earlier records are on line . |
