After getting a certificate this week, I went to search through old copies of the local newspaper to see if I could get any information from this and see if it showed a connection to the person who registered the death and it seems that it was the funeral director who registered her death, anyone know why he would do this and not a relative, I know she had never married but she had at least one sister. |

We have had this on my o.h's side. This happened in Canada, and was his errant grandfather who left his family and ,we think, married again bigamously whilst there. |

There was an inquest after my dad died and the coroner's office took care of the arrangements, including registering the death. |
