edward gibbs lookup help please

can anyone help me to find a grave infomation on edward gibbs im sure he is buried at all saints parish grave in martock somerset he was my grandfather i know he lived at martock as i was born at his home not sure but think he died in the 1940's and born late 1800's(stoke trister) i can find no info on him and need dates to get certificates. hope someone can help

Is this him in 1901 do ou think.
You would have to go through the BMD year by year to find a death. Do you have any idea at all of the date to narrow the search.
You could also get in touch with the church see if they could give you the date if they have the parish records to hand.

It's possible that this is his birth. Wincanton district covers Stoke Trister:-

This could be his death as Martock is registered under Yeovil

Do you know the name of your grandmother (Edward's wife).

If you could find their marriage certificate it would give you Edward's father's name which would help to check if the family found above is the right one.

The one Steph found looks good. There is nothing to match up between 1945/49

thanks for help,that is also only info i found,also on early census(i think thats where i saw)he had a brother but he was killed in action.
edward married lilian vincent(a large dorset vincent family).
after lilian died he remarried as far as i remember to ada?spratt who alread had a son edmund woodwood(presume she had also married before.
and yes it would be about 1950 when he died,as i know he wasnt married for very long second time before there death.
