Just checked the marriage out and yes George and Thirzia did marry in Maldon in the AMJ quarter of 1847. |

I am doing some work for a friend whos family have been in the same village for nigh on 150 years. The church was having a summer fete yesterday and the church was open for visitors to look at some of the parish registers. My friend was quite sketchy with the info she had so i thought I would go along and check a few things out. I thought the records being available would be photo copies, but no...the church had arranged with the essex RO to loan them back several of the original registers. What an experience. |
