Someone contacted me yesterday about William Joss b 1813. He appears in my tree on this site with a wife and four children, one of whom is married with two children. This family group is not connected to anyone else. |

I had a similar enquiry last year. It turned out the name WAS on the gedcom I had loaded, it was a branch that I had previously unconnected on my FTM master, but not removed entirely. |

Yes - it's on my GR tree but not on my PAF which has more names than I have on GR.. |

May be you removed them from the PAF but not the GR tree - I had a similar thing happen where I realised I had the wrong wife in a marriage - changed it on my "proper" tree but forgot to do so on the GR one. |
