Is there anywhere I can access for free the BMD Index? I have been using Ancestry but membership ran out. Help!!

Most libraries now have Ancestry online. Or you can look through the BMD's on fiche at libraries, record offices and LDS Family History Centres.

Clare - I think rootsweb will only give you FreeBMD which only goes up to about 1915/1920.
