I think just in the last hour or so.

I think this site is still very much a work in progress.

~~~~~ To Heather,
All looks a bit basic, to me, I like the font, but not the background, and the txt box is too small!! How about some "emoticons" Genes????? so we can express ourselves a lot better???????? or a quote function??
and be able to put in pictures and moving images would be good as well
:)
Heather Report 23 Aug 2007 16:03
Well, you can do most of that on FTF!
yes you can which is why it is so much better! lol
Sorry to disagree, but it's one of the things I'm not too keen on in FTF. My son did a sparkly name for me to use on there, but I'm really not keen.
Kath.
That is one of the good things about it though as you at least have the choice - you don't have to have a signature and you are able to turn other peoples signatures off so that you don't have to look at them if you don't want to so there is choice whether you want to see them or not.
Plus there is a great team of mods (including Heather PT) a team dedicated to developing the site, a brilliant reference section and a new free online magazine.
It is also a free site but you can donate as and when you want to, if you want to and if you have a problem with a photo there are people who know about them and we have a brilliant restorer who can work wonders :-)
The thing is with FTF, it is a totally different layout to this... like Tom said, you can customise it, and use larger fonts, if vision is a problem.
Yes I use FTF every day, But To be able to 'see' whether a member is online helps, as you can talk/discuss almost instantly any problems etc...
I know we are a new site in the grand scheme of things, and this first year has been a massive learning curve for all of us...
I suspect that we all get different things out of this addictive hobby of ours, I like a puzzle, and like the chase, but also have "other" interests.
What I like is that when you click on one of your past threads it brings up all the messages for that thread not just your own.
The reply box has become bigger too.
Tom Tom-
How do I turn the sparley signatures off? I find them a bit annoying, so I'd LOVE to now how to get rid of them.
(As I have a choice! lol)
