Maiden name or married name?

I have a copy of a parish record for a marriage. It took place on December 4th 1825 at St Peters Church Liverpool. It says the womans name is Mary Winterbottom and that she is a widow. So would her surname shown on the record be her maiden name or her married name ? Thanks Steph |
