Helen No they are the films of the original entries and the staff are really helpful,don't trust the IGI on the LDS site use it as a tool only as it can be mistranscribed as happenned to me. I like to see the real thing now. Pm me if you need any more help

I think the Mormon church have these films.You will have to look at their catalogue on Familysearch. If available you can arrange to see them at your local LDS centre.

Thanks Jim These film that are held by LDS, are they not the same records that are shown on IGI? Sorry I am a little bit confused! Helen

Thanks Joe, I will go a googling then. I thought perhaps you could order copies (ie. on film) and read them at your local library. I am sure someone has mentioned that before, but I could be mistaken. Cheers Helen

IF the record you want is not online - i.e. a BMD or baptism on LDS site (though I would want to see actual confirmation of such an entry) then you would have to visit the archive of the town or County where the event occurred - Google 'Worcester archives' and you will find if there are other archives where the parish record may be held - though for a city the size of Worcester I would doubt there is an alternative.

Hi, Can anyone tell me whether you have to visit the parish concerned to read their Parish Records or whether they are available to read at local libraries? I am looking for Worcestershire Parish records, but its a long way from where I am. Any help would be much appreciated. Helen
