Don`t know where you get that price --if you look at scotlandspeople you can view pages and print off certificates . I`ve bought a few and not paid more than £10, more for wills Ros |

It is £6 for 30 credits on Scotlandspeople and if you use them wisely you could probably get copies of at least 5 certificates. You also then have that certificate for as long as you use the site so if you need another copy you can save it to your computer or print off another copy.( i.e. there is a previous search facility which you can use to go and look at the certificate without being charged again for same certificate. I am not sure how much certificates are if you order them from the GRO in Edinburgh by phone etc. Hope this makes sense Diana |

Hi Heather Marion is quite right in saying it is £17 to search all day at GROS in Edinburgh. Sorry to mislead you I just thought it was great being able to pick up photocopies of certificates for 50p and on the day. I am lucky in that I stay quite near GROS. Sorry to cause a misunderstanding. Kind Regards Diana |
