pop-ups

having a problem with a message re pop-ups on here. I was wanting to access a shared tree - been in a half an hour ago, but now get a message saying pop-ups blocked, click to temp. allow them, but when I do it, i still cannot get into the shared tree. does anyone have any ideas how to solve this? thanks vicky

I'm getting this too. Are you using Internet Explorer version 7? Rose

Hi: I just had the same problem when I clicked on 'view tree' next to a contact's name on my contact page. However, when I went in to my GR tree and used the drop down menu, clicked on the contact's name, their tree appeared. Linda

If you really must have pop-ups blocked, then just go into your browser settings and add this site address to the exceptions list.

thanks very much for that tip,I have just used it only to find after all the care I have taken with holding living relatives in my tree, a ex relative has disclosed all!!! annoyed is not the word!!

Peter, It's not a problem with IE. The problem is the Google Toolbar blocking the pop-ups. Rose
