Wow, this info is amazing. I have lots of pictures handed to me that used to belong to my great great Aunt who wrote on the back of the pictures. I have found on the BMD index a Dorothy J Blackford born in Bristol in Q4 Bristol 1922 - mothers maiden name Williams. There are other pictures in the collection with Williams as the surname so I'm guessing until I get the marriage certificate that this is my Dorothy. What a shame she died in Jan 07! Would be marvellous if you could provide me with contact information. Maybe his marriage certificate would tell me what the J stands for. I know they went to New York.

Found records for a Dorothy and Vincent living in Jerico, NY. He was born Nov. 1920. A current phone number is still registered to him. PM me if you want his address and number. Rose

Do you have any dates of birth for them? They are a few Vincents. A middle name would help. Rose

His name is Vincent J Polito. He married a relative of mine Dorothy J Blackford in 1944 in Bristol. I know they went back over to the states but I know nothing more. If anybody could have a check for me that would be marvellous. I have quite a few pictures of him and would love to know more.
