adoption help please

Hi Tracey The only way of finding out which one of the 3 names you have is adopted is to buy the birth certificates. When a child is adopted the original birth certificate has to be amended and will have the word 'adopted' in one of the columns. It's not possible to find the adoptive name. If you are a birth family member and wish contact with the adoptee, go to www.adoptionsearchreunion.org.uk it will explain the recent law changes and how to apply for contact. Hope this helps. hi, i have 3 birth reg names and i was wondering if it is possable to find out which one was adopted and what his new name would be. is there any way of finding out? thanks |
