When most of my rellies have been out of work they have either had nothing listed under employment or it says something like- unemployed miner, retired fisherman etc. One branch of the family has relatives that are listed as- living by own means, and - living on interest' am i to assume they had a bit of lolly? Or where they perhaps too proud to be listed as a 'nothing' under employment?

It usually means they have some kind of income, often an annuity. Ozi.
