I thought it might mean the wife of the family was nursing a child for someone not connected with the family. But on the next page there appears to be a family with Head and his wife both in their 60's who appear to have 3 'Nurse Child' at their address? Thank you all Pat

	A nurse child is a foster child - the family are being paid to care for her.
