Hi there, does anyone here use an apple mac, I don't seem to be able to update any of my tree, it keeps saying the is a problem with the site, I am wondering if the site is not apple mac friendly. Is anyone else having the same problem? Caz.

I'm a Mac user too and I have to say that the site is going rapidly downhill from that point of view. I've always used a Mac to build my family tree and I'd never had a problem until a few months ago, when I found I could no longer upload photos. I tried contacting the Helpline, but like so many websites, I got the impression that they weren't interested in helping me, because as a Mac user, I'm considered to be a minority. I'm still able to update my tree, but I find it more and more frustrating when it comes to viewing very large trees, and I'm more and more inclined to find another site to build the tree on. Sorry to be so negative, but GR's answer seems to be get a PC (no thanks!!!). You could try updating your browser or switching to a different one: can't promise it will solve the problem, but it's worth a try. Good luck.

Whatever else you do, make sure you have a copy of your tree somewhere other than on GR. Otherwise you run the risk of losing the lot! Christine
